Since you are purchasing from the manufacturer we are able to offer several different styles of each product for you. You may choose to have the Happy Hempys made with either Snap or Hook & Loop for the closure. You may add a fleece stay dry lining to the diapers or you may choose not to. You may also choose to have your hempy made as a sized fitted diaper or a one size diaper. 

The Happy Hempy does not come with any inserts but we have placed several options for you if you would like to choose one. For an overnight solution for a heavy wetter we recommend using 2 infant sized prefolds inside of your hempy pocket. If additional absorption is needed then add 1 hemp stuffin. 

Happy Hempys are made of two luscious layers of Hemp Fleece, which is a combination of 55% hemp 45% cotton. You can choose an optional layer of custom-milled microfleece on the inside to keep baby feeling dry. Happy Hempys have been prewashed to remove oily build up and to help prevent shrinkage, although they may shrink a small amount with successive washings. Even though we have had our hemp washed for you, it does still require 6-8 full washes and dries before the natural hemp oils are completely removed from your diaper. It must be washed at least 4 times prior to use. Hemp becomes more absorbent with each washing and will reach it's full potential after 8 washes. During the prep time we recommend you wash the hemp products with any other laundry loads so that there is no waste of water washing just an item or 2. After the hemp is fully prepped wash as normal with all other diapers. Do not wash un-prepped hemp with any other diapering products as the natural oils can cause an oily residue and repelling.

Happy Hempys have elastic at the legs and back to allow for a snug yet comfortable fit. They are made with Hook & Loop closures which fit a wide range of babies and make for very fast diaper changes on wiggly little ones. The big benefit of Happy Hempys is that you decide what to stuff them with and how much stuffing your baby needs. Inserts are sold separately.

Happy Hempys are fitted diapers and do need to be used with a cover. For night time use, fleece and wool covers are wonderful, as they allow baby's skin to breathe all night. We recommend fleece or wool covers. The Happy Hempy without microfleece is an all natural diaper.

Combined with proper night-time stuffing & proper lanolizing of our wool cover this can be a bullet proof system for most heavy wetters.
